Accommodation at Bassenthwaite Parish Rooms The whole of the accommodation is leased for the exclusive use of one group at a time. Main Hall 14.75 x 6.45 metres. Excellent oak strip floor (often used for dancing). Fluorescent lighting and oil fired central heating. All lighting is included in the rental charge.
Kitchen Area The kitchen is well equipped with large catering size electric cooker, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, gas kettle, 3 large teapots and pots and pans. Sink unit with double drainer, electric water heater (on meter). Wall cabinets, worktops, tables and chairs to seat 25-50 people. We are able to supply hotel quality crockery and cutlery etc for 100 sittings at no extra cost. Breakages and losses etc must be made good. Charges on request.
Toilet & Washing Facilities Ladies and gents toilets: Additional toilet and handwash basin upstairs.
By way of a separate staircase is a toilet and handwash basin. Due to fire regulations, it is no longer possible for people to sleep up here but there is plenty of space in the main hall downstairs.
Parking Forecourt and side parking for 8-10 vehicles. Small space for one tent. Some larger groups prefer to use the room as a centre and camp on the local campsite.
